Perhaps the biggest UFC fight of 2020 takes place on Saturday at "Fight Island" from the Flash Forum in Yas Island, Abu Dhabu, as lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov takes on interim titleholder Justin Gaethje. The winner walks out of the Middle East as the undisputed 155-pound champion.
Nurmagomedov (28-0) looks to make the third defense of his belt, having submitted Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier, respectively. Gaethje (22-2) became a UFC champion for the first time, stopping Tony Ferguson in the fifth round at UFC 249, in May.
Before Nurmagomedov and Gaethje lock horns in a few short days, they saw each other at Wednesday's pre-fight press conference.
While it didn't have the same intensity as the press conference before UFC 229, when Nurmagomedov met Conor McGregor, there were some comments that got you excited for UFC 254, which will determine an undisputed 155-pound champion.
