Tai Tuivasa is pure entertainment.
The heavyweight made his walk to the Octagon to the Spice Girls' "Wannabe," proceeded to knock Greg Hardy out in the first round, then did a 'shoey' (drinking beer out of a shoe) at the top of the cage at UFC 264 in T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday night.
Although Hardy caught and staggered Tuivasa with a solid right hand, the former NFL player got overzealous and went for the finish. Instead, he'd be finished seconds later, as Tuivasa sat on a pulverizing left hook that dropped Hardy in a heap. Hardy was essentially knocked out, and Tuivasa added some punches to close out the first-round highlight-reel knockout.
"I'm not the right guy to bang with," Tuivasa said during his post-fight interview. "Pick another bloke."
He added: "I want to fight someone in the Top 10 or Top 15 — something like that. But I don't really give a f—k. I'm here to put a show on for the fans."
Well, he definitely did that and has now won three fights in a row.
