UFC Fight Night: Khamzat Chimaev wins two fights in 10 days in different weight classesDAZN
There's a new force to be reckoned with in the UFC.

Some fighters enter the UFC and struggle to get one win in their entire run with the organization.

What Khamzat Chimaev has done in 10 days is something people will be talking for some time after plowing through Rhys McKee in one round at UFC Fight Night on "Fight Island."

The first-round TKO was his second victory in 10 days, which is a UFC record. Perhaps even more impressive is the fact that he won those fights in two different weight classes.

After submitting John Phillips at middleweight on July 15, Chimaev then asked the UFC if he could step right back into the Octagon. The UFC obliged, but it required the Chechnyan born wrecking machine to drop down to welterweight. Chimaev did just that and collected his second win in more impressive fashion than the first victory as he didn't absorb a single strike. He took McKee down in the opening seconds and used his impressive grappling to keep his opponent pinned to the canvas.

Chimaev started unloading the heavy artillery while looking for the best way possible to finish the Irishman off. He finally got McKee flat on the mat and uncorked a barrage of shots that forced the referee to put an end to the savagery.

"I can fight after one hour, maybe," Chimaev said in his post-fight interview. "If somebody is injured, I'm here. I'm going to smash everybody. It doesn't matter. I'm going to smash everybody."

The UFC may have a new star on its hands.
