Dana White addressed a possible fight with Jon Jones for the undisputed heavyweight crown.

Tom Aspinall uncorked two huge right hands and subsequent hammerfists to produce an electric first-round knockout of Sergei Pavlovich at UFC 295 in New York City on Saturday night.

The win crowned Aspinall the UFC's new interim heavyweight champion. But was it enough to persuade Dana White to scrap the idea of Jon Jones vs. Stipe Miocic altogether to have Jones clash with Aspinall for the undisputed heavyweight title, instead?

Well, not quite.

In addressing media following UFC 295 on Sunday, White made it clear that he still wants to book Jones vs. Miocic, which was supposed to headline UFC 295 before Jones suffered a torn pectoral tendon.

"No, you do those two (Jones vs. Miocic)," White said when asked about the possibility of Jones vs. Aspinall superseding Jones vs. Miocic. "Those two both deserve that fight. That's the fight they want."

White additionally noted that Jones is already in physical therapy, mounting a comeback from the injury.

As for Aspinall's next move, White would only say "we'll see how that plays out."

He added: "We'll see what happens. (Aspinall) took this fight on short notice — obviously looked great. He's got plenty of money to chill out for a minute and we'll see."
