Extreme E on DAZN: Where and how to watch, streaming, devices for Lewis Hamilton's new ventureExtreme E
How to watch the new all-electric motorsport competition.

DAZN has secured the rights for the new Extreme E motorsports series, an electric rally competition that launches its inaugural season with five events across the globe.

The first event will take place in Saudi Arabia as the Desert X-Prix in March 2021, and after that the Ocean X-Prix takes place in Africa, with Senegal hosting the event. The race organisers will then move to their Arctic X-Prix, with an event planned for August in Kangerlussuaq in Greenland.

For the Amazon X-Prix there will be a rally in Brazil in October. Finally, Tierra Del Fuego in Argentina will host a race as the Glacier X-Prix.

Extreme E can only be watched on streaming and broadcast services, as no spectators will be permitted in order to minimise the environmental impact on the locations. Each team will be required to field one male and one female driver, with each driver taking a lap each.

The series aims to bring awareness to climate change and environmental damage done to each of the locations to be featured, with a mission, “to highlight the destruction of our planet and to inspire people, companies and locations to urgently change course and go on the positive journey we must all take.”

Championship ambassador Lewis Hamilton, and founder of team X44 said, “As founder of X44, I am looking forward to building my team around important values such as sustainability and equality.

“None of us are perfect and we all have improvements to make, but I am excited to use our platform to highlight the most serious issues facing our planet and the solutions we can be part of.”
