Tony Bellew previewed the Alexandra Palace main event on The DAZN Boxing Show.

Former world middleweight champion Daniel Jacobs will be looking to keep his boxing career alive when he takes on John Ryder this coming Saturday on DAZN

That's certainly the view of DAZN Boxing anayst Tony Bellew who was giving his prediction on The DAZN Boxing Show

"What I will say is that Danny Jacobs’ career is on the line in this fight," Bellew said.

"If Danny Jacobs loses this fight, I believe it’s over at the top level for him. He knows that going in and this is the reason why it’s taking place in London I believe.

"This is a fight he could have easily looked past if it had been taking place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

"I think him coming away will ignite a bit of nastiness, a little bit of spark that’s been missing these last few fights."

When deciding how the contest will play out, Bellew believes Ryder's relentless fighting style could prove a problem for Jacobs.

"He’s going to need it, John Ryder does not go away easily, he really doesn’t," Bellew claimed.

"He’s not called ‘The Gorilla’ for nothing, he gets on you, he makes you work and he fires shots non-stop.

"He’s a hungry aggressive fighter and this guy’s had more Indian Summers than Ghandi."
