The two former winners were drawn into Group E with Japan and either Costa Rica or New Zealand.
Elsewhere, England could face British rivals Wales or Scotland in Group B if they can get through their European playoff scheduled for the Summer.
Hosts Qatar were with Senegal and the Netherlands and will face Ecuador on the tournament's opening day in Group A.
Defending champions France is in Group D and will face Denmark, Tunisia, and either Peru, UAE, or Australia.
