Ally McCoist believes that Zinedine Zidane should be the man to replace Erik ten Hag at Manchester United.
The former Real Madrid manager, a three-time European Cup winner as a coach, is available and McCoist has identified the Frenchman as the perfect fit for Manchester United.
As it stands, United have an FA Cup final against Manchester City next month to look forward to but even victory might not secure Ten Hag another season in charge.
United were very fortunate to reach the final after an almighty struggle with Covetry City in the semi-final, and that performance has heaped pressure on the Dutchman.
“I’d love to see Zinedine Zidane take over at Manchester United. I think that he would be brilliant for the club and if I had to pick one then he would be the one for me,” said McCoist when speaking to Talksport BET.
“Thomas Tuchel would probably jump at the opportunity to be the next United boss, but Zidane would be my pick.”
