In the first episode of "Shoot-Out," Steve Bower and Greg Brady discuss the rising stars of Canada and the United States.

A pair of youngsters has grabbed the headlines in 2020 — and they're on a collision course.

Canada's Alphonso Davies has earned worldwide plaudits for his marauding runs down the left side of Bayern Munich's lineup, while United States star Christian Pulisic may just be the most in-form player in the soccer world after the Premier League's restart in June. On Aug. 8 (on DAZN in Canada), the players will go head-to-head as Bayern looks to protect its 3-0 lead in the round of 16 against Chelsea in the Champions League, and if the Blues are to have any chance at advancing, Pulisic will need to continue his stellar attacking play.

Both players are turning heads with their seemingly unlimited potential, and debate has arisen over who is the bigger talent.

In "Shoot-Out," Steve Bower and Greg Brady look at the burgeoning careers of both players, laying out the considerable gifts each brings to the table. Pulisic, the 21-year-old offensive prodigy, has stepped up for Chelsea "when it's mattered," says Bower, potentially giving the American the edge in the debate.

However, Brady points out that Davies' meteoric rise in the Bundesliga now has many talking about the Canadian teenager as "the best left-back on the planet."

Watch the full show above (the Davies-Pulisic debate starts at the 8:37 mark), in which Bower and Brady also debate Messi vs. Ronaldo, or on DAZN's YouTube channel.
