Arsenal could be in the market for an attacking player this summer and former Georgia international Archil Arveladze believes he knows just the right player.
The Gunners have been linked to several strikers for a potential transfer, as they look to shore up their squad for another run at the Premier League title after finishing second behind Manchester City in back-to-back seasons.
But while the focus has been on a No. 9, Arveladze thinks his countryman Khvicha Kvaratskhelia could be a good fit in North London.
Kvaratskhelia is a wide attacker at Napoli, and while centre forward is widely believed to be the position of need for Mikel Arteta's side, Arveladze told OLBG that his compatriot could also help improve the Gunners.
"It is the dream of all Georgians for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to move to the Premier League. Looking at the Premier League, it could be one of six top teams," Arveladze said.
"He could also end up at PSG or Bayern Munich, but it’s not quite as realistic because Napoli want £100 million for him.
"He wouldn’t play for anyone else in Italy due to the price as well as his relationship with the fans.
"The only teams that can pay the money are Premier League teams and I think he would be very happy at Arsenal. He would suit their style of play.
"They play offensive football and that would please him, he is a great player and importantly a good man as well. It’s tough playing in England with the league, Europe and two cups but he is strong enough to do it. He is a professional."
