Juventus will fight for its UEFA Champions League life on Tuesday as it visits Benfica on the second last day of action in the group stage.
The Bianconeri are third in Group H with just three points from four games, but a victory over the Portuguese side would keep their slim hopes of advancement alive. Benfica sits second in the group with eight points, tied with Paris Saint-Germain but behind on tiebreakers. A Juve win would bring the Italian club within two points of second place ahead of next week's final matchday.
"We are not eliminated yet, nor have we qualified for the round of 16, and we're not even sure of going to the Europa League, but [Tuesday] only one result will do. It is not all down to us, but everything is still possible," said Juventus head coach Massimiliano Allegri.
"We must win to keep the door open. Benfica are in charge of its own destiny. They are one of the four unbeaten teams in Europe, together with Napoli, PSG, and Real Madrid. Also, they have a different drive in front of their fans, and we know it."
