A congested Champions League group stage is around the corner, but first the draw must be made.
Due to the unprecedented nature of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, all club play must go on hiatus by mid-November in order to shift focus to the sport's biggest tournament. That means the 2022-23 edition of the UEFA Champions League, arguably the sport's second-biggest tournament, will accelerate its group stage to be done by the cut off date.
As such, teams will have less than two weeks from the date of the group stage draw to prepare for their first matches.
Regardless of the sped-up nature of the group stage, fans can still expect the usual pomp and circumstance from the draw and award ceremony, which goes Thursday in Istanbul.
Here's how you can watch the draw, plus how to watch every Champions League game live.
