The 2022-23 Champions League group stage consists of a sprint unlike that of any other previous tournament.
Due to the World Cup in Qatar, all club soccer worldwide must shut down by mid-November. That has prompted UEFA to condense the six matchdays of the group stage into less than two months from start to finish, which is 5-6 weeks quicker than previous editions.
What that means is that there will be very little rest for the participating clubs, as weekend domestic fixtures and midweek Champions League clashes will follow one after the other, handing managers a juggling act unlike any they've experienced.

Where will the Champions League 2022-23 final be played?
Atatürk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul, Turkey, will play host to the final. The venue was originally scheduled to host the 2020 final, but coronavirus-related postponements shifted the hosting duties and forced a rescheduling.
The Champions League final is scheduled for Saturday, June 10, 2022, with a 3 p.m. ET kickoff.
