The Premier League side is into the final four.

Chelsea headed into Tuesday's Champions League quarterfinal, second leg, against FC Porto knowing that goals weren't required for advancement.

A 0-1 loss to the Portuguese club was just fine for Thomas Tuchel's men, who did what they had to do to move on to the semifinals.

Despite Porto needing to score at least twice, there were only three shots on target between the two sides in Tuesday's contest. The Blues set out to keep the "visitors" at bay — both legs were played on neutral ground due to COVID-19 restrictions — and that's what they did as a solid defensive performance was enough to ensure the desired result for the Premier League side.

Porto did manage to break through deep into second-half stoppage time, as Mehdi Teremi scored on a stunning volley, but at that point, it was too little, too late.
