Chelsea completed a furious comeback against Manchester United on Thursday, winning 4-3 despite entering second-half stoppage time down by a goal.

Cole Palmer was the hero for the Blues as he scored three of his side's goals, including the two decisive strikes 10 and 11 minutes into additional time, respectively.

The result comes on a night when Chelsea attempted 28 shots, with 10 of them on target. Yet the Blues required Palmer's late heroics despite generating so much on attack, and after the match the 21-year-old revealed what manager Mauricio Pochettino said to the side as they pushed for the winner.

"Crazy game. When we scored in the [100]th minute I thought let's go for it. Madness," Palmer told BBC Sport.

He added: "When we scored [the equaliser] he [Pochettino] said 'two minutes, come on!' He's always trying to drive us on. We went for it and thankfully we scored."
