Croatia and Wales meet Saturday in Split for a Euro 2024 qualifier.
It's the first match of the qualifying campaign for both teams, who were each last seen at the World Cup in Qatar.
The Croatians were once again a force to be reckoned with at the quadrennial tourney, finishing third at Qatar 2022 after their second-place finish at Russia 2018. They topped groupmates Morocco 2-1 in the third-place match on Dec. 17, which was the last time the team were in action.
Wales exited Qatar 2022 at the group stage, but their first appearance at the World Cup in nearly 60 years was seen as a success nonetheless.
With Qatar in the rear-view, these teams now embark on a new campaign, with both looking to advance out of a Group D that also includes Armenia, Latvia and Turkey.
