Four teams remain in the hunt for the Croky Cup, with Gent, Club Brugge, Eupen and Anderlecht having made it through to the semifinals.
Last year's winners, KRC Genk, exited in the round of 16, meaning a new team will be crowned Belgian Cup champions this season. The side that knocked Genk out, Club Brugge, lists Canadian international winger Tajon Buchanan among its starters and key contributors. Should Buchanan and Brugge advance past Gent, the 23-year-old would be in line to feature in his first European cup final since making the move across the Atlantic from MLS side New England Revolution back in January.
