Former Manchester United hero Dimitar Berbatov has had his say on Mason Mount's move to the Old Trafford club.
Mount joined the club for £55 million in the summer and has struggled with form and injury. The former Chelsea star has made eight appearances, failing to score a goal, an assist, or even create a big chance.
Speaking to Betfair, Dimitar Berbatov provided his analysis of Mount. Berbatov said, " So, he’s the player I want to see give more and produce more because in some games."
Berbatov continued, "It looks like he doesn’t know how to fit into that system. He looks a bit lost."
Berbatov signed for Man United in a big-money move and is acutely aware of the pressure on Mount. He said, "He was bought for big money, which brings big expectations, but not only that, his stress levels will be high."
However, the former Premier League Golden Boot winner has backed Mount's quality and overall talent, saying, "It’s not working out, so now is the opportunity to stay concentrated and just be in the game and start to show the quality you showed at Chelsea."
