At this point, it's almost becoming commonplace to see Erling Haaland break goalscoring records.
On Tuesday, the Borussia Dortmund star scored another pair of goals in his team's 2-2 draw (5-4 agg.) against Sevilla in the second leg of the Champions League round of 16, making him the quickest player to reach 20 goals in Europe's premier club competition.
Haaland's double came in the 20-year-old's 14th Champions League game, which tops Harry Kane's previous record by an astonishing 10 matches.
His 20th goal — which came on a strange sequence in which VAR called off his initial strike but simultaneously awarded Dortmund a penalty that then required two tries to convert — also pushed Haaland above Manchester United legend (and current manager) Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as the highest-scoring Norwegian player in Champions League history.
Unsurprisingly, Haaland leads all goal-scorers in the 2020-21 Champions League Golden Boot race.
