Sevilla will once against play in a Europa League final.

The most successful team in the history of the competition, Sevilla advanced to the final after defeating Juventus 2-1 on Thursday in the second leg of their semi-final. The teams had played to a 1-1 draw a week earlier in Turin, and on Thursday the Spanish side needed a 71st-minute equalizer from Suso and an Erik Lamela strike five minutes into extra time to seal the victory.

Unfortunately for Sevilla, they'll be without Marcos Acuna in the final, as the defender was shown a second yellow card in the 115th minute for time-wasting.

Meanwhile, AS Roma booked their spot in the final with a stubborn defensive peformance in a 0-0 draw at Bayer Leverkusen. That follows a 1-0 victory for the Italian side in last week's first leg as Roma claimed the aggregate win by the narrowest of margins.

Thursday match was a frustrating one for the German side playing at home, as they took 23 shots (six on target) but couldn't find a breakthrough. Contrast that with a single shot (zero on goal) by the Giallorossi, along with a lopsided 72-28 possession advantage for Leverkusen.

Despite the stats, Roma did what was necessary to secure advancement.
