Matches will take place in Italy.

Arsenal and Manchester United will travel to Italy next week for their respective Europa League 2020-21 round of 32 matches, despite facing non-Italian teams.

UEFA announced that the Benfica vs. Arsenal first leg would take place at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome, while the first leg of Real Sociedad vs. Manchester United will be played in Turin's Allianz Stadium. The changes were made as travel bans in Portugal and Spain have been enacted against countries with high numbers of novel COVID-19 variants, which includes the United Kindom.

Additionally, Norwegian side Molde FK will host TSG 1899 Hoffenheim of Germany in Villarreal, Spain.

All three matches will kick off at their originally scheduled times and dates.

The Champions League was also affected by various travel restrictions, as the first legs of Leipzig-Liverpool, Moenchengladbach-Man City and Atletico-Chelsea were all moved to neutral sites.
