    Here's everything you need to know about Saturday's broadcast between the Toffees and Seagulls.

    To say it's been a good start to the 2020-21 Premier League campaign for Everton would be a massive understatement.

    The Toffees head into Matchday 4 a perfect 3-0, having defeated Tottenham, West Brom and Crystal Palace to start the season. Led by the brilliant play of James Rodriguez, Carlo Ancelotti's men have become one of the must-see teams of the early portion of the season.

    While Everton has settled into a good "also-ran" side in recent years, the club has bigger ambitions. Signalled by the summer signing of Rodriguez, the Toffees aim to compete for a European spot this season.

    To do that, Ancelotti must get consistent wins out of his squad. A three-game winning streak to begin the year is a start, but Everton will need to take advantage of every opportunity in order to compete with the bigger teams in the Premier League throughout the season.

    Saturday presents one such opportunity for Ancelotti's men, as Brighton represents the type of team that Everton should be defeating consistently in order to acculumate enough points to challenge for a berth in the Europa League or Champions League. 

    Brighton has hardly been a pushover in the early part of the season, though. The Seagulls were competitive-but-overmatched in their season opener against Chelsea before they hammered Newcastle 3-0 on Matchday 2. The following week saw Brighton lose out in controversial fashion to Manchester United after a penalty was awarded to the Red Devils after the final whistle had been sounded, giving United a 3-2 victory.

    The well-organized, stubborn Brighton side should provide a good test for Everton, although the Toffees' talent advantage means they'll be the favourites when the teams meet at Goodison Park on Saturday.
