Andy Cole believes that Everton will be gunning for Manchester United after their points deduction.
Sean Dyche had overseen a mini-revival at Everton but the situation has been hugely undermined by a punishment for their financial management.
That has seen them bounced down to 19th place on four points, and they could find themselves in a relegation dogfight if they allow their heads to be turned by disappointment.
They face a potentially difficult match against United on Sunday afternoon, but speaking to Betfred, former Red Devils striker Cole believes they will be looking to hit the ground running.
He said: “This will be a really tough game for Manchester United.
“I think Everton are going to be really galvanised and they’ll want to respond positively after they were handed the points deduction.”
