Former Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Petit believes that Arsenal will be the winners when they face Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
The two sides face off at the Emirates on Tuesday night in the first leg of their quarter-final tie, and much has been made of Harry Kane - a former Tottenham striker - coming back to face his old rivals.
While Bayern have failed to challenge for the Bundesliga this season after a hugely impressive campaign from Bayer Leverkusen, Arsenal remain in the hunt for the Premier League.
Speaking to Gambling Zone, Petit predicted Mikel Arteta’s men would succeed, at least in the home leg.
He said: “Arsenal will win, they will definitely score because Bayern Munich concede goals every game.
“Bayern will try to save their season in this tie, they need to come with the DNA they used to have in the Champions League.
“I believe Arsenal can beat Bayern home and away, the first game is very important to set the tone of the tie.
“I think Arsenal will win 1-0 against Bayern, it's going to be tight.”
