Which players have made the cut ahead of the big title clash on Sunday?

Former Liverpool defender Jose Enrique has compiled his combined Liverpool and Manchester City XI ahead of Sunday's titanic title showdown, with a couple of surprise inclusions.

Only a point separates the teams as Pep Guardiola prepares to head to Anfield for his final meeting with Jurgen Klopp - at least for now - with many believing the game could determine where the Premier League title ends up this season.

Ahead of the game, Enrique put together his team for Grosvenor Sports and, in a surprise choice, stated that, on current form, he’d have Conor Bradley over Kyle Walker at right-back.

“On current form, I’d start Conor Bradley at right back over Kyle Walker,” he said.

“This kid is really making an impact for Liverpool and they don’t seem to miss Trent Alexander-Arnold at all, so I’d have him over Walker at the moment. He’s not put a foot wrong and he’s been flying for them recently – he’s a young boy that’s come in and done unbelievably. Full credit to Jurgen Klopp for trusting him and some of the other players from the academy over the past few weeks – they’ve been brilliant.

“Obviously as players generally, you can’t really compare them – one has just come into the side and the other is one of the best right backs ever in the Premier League – but on current form, Bradley gets into my combined XI!”

The Spaniard also revealed that alongside Bradley in defence, he'd plump for Ibrahim Konate over John Stones in the centre of his back four and heaped praise on the French centre-back.

“I don’t think any manager in the world would take John Stones before Ibrahima Konate, apart from Pep Guardiola,” he added

“As a pure centre-back, Konate is better than Stones. Stones can play well with the ball and play in a few positions in midfield, but as a centre-back, Konate is quick, strong, and better defensive-wise. He can play in a high line or a low line and I absolutely love him – I actually think he’s quite underrated.

“He’s developed into such an important player for Liverpool and is key to how they play, especially when Trent goes forward on the right-hand side and he fills in in wide areas. I really like John Stones as a player too, but for me, Konate is world class. He’s a top, top player.”
