The United striker is not part of the Euros squad.

Teddy Sheringham has questioned Marcus Rashford's work ethic off the back of his England Euros snub.

The Manchester United forward was left out of Gareth Southgate's plans for this summer's tournament despite being a regular under the England manager over recent major finals.

It comes after a season in which Rashford severely underperformed, scoring just seven goals and being questioned about his off-field behaviour.

Sheringham admits he doesn't know what's been happening with the Red Devils forward but told TG Casino he would like to see him get back to his best.

“Who knows what’s going on in Marcus Rashford’s life?” Sheringham asked.

“He’s obviously got the talent, but his worth ethic has been questioned in the past six to eight months – and rightly so. His body language hasn’t been great, but you can see in the way he performed in the FA Cup final that the talent is there!

“He can obviously score goals and have an influential impact on games, so I’d like to see him get back to his former ways and playing well for Manchester United. It would benefit both his club and country.”
