Former Liverpool captain Jamie Carragher believes manager Jurgen Klopp should rest all his key players for their Europa League quarter-final second-leg against Atalanta.
Liverpool's hopes of giving Klopp a European send-off in the Europa League final were dealt an enormous blow on Thursday evening, as the Reds lost 3-0 at Anfield to the Serie A outfit.
The defeat means Liverpool have a mountain to climb in next week's second leg, and the task is so big Carragher believes Liverpool should not give it their all and instead focus on winning the Premier League.
Klopp's side are level on points with Premier League leaders Arsenal, with both sides one point ahead of Pep Guardiola's Manchester City with seven games remaining.
Posting on X, formerly known as Twitter, Carragher - who played 737 games for the club - said Klopp should "play a full second string in the second leg" in an attempt to win the Premier League.
Liverpool face Atalanta in the return leg on Thursday, 18 April but have a Premier League match with Crystal Palace at Anfield to deal with first.
