What will be the score be when England's top two teams meet?

Former Liverpool and Newcastle United defender Jose Enrique has made his prediction for this weekend's Man City vs Liverpool match.

The top two teams meet on Saturday afternoon at the Etihad Stadium, and Enrique has offered his analysis.

Speaking to Grosvenor Sport, Enrique said, "There are a couple of factors going against Liverpool in this game."

Enrique made City favourites, especially with Erling Haaland set to start; "I think City being at home makes them favourites, and it also looks like Haaland will be fit to play as well."

Furthermore, Enrique pinpointed Belgian winger Jeremy Doku as Man City's key man. Doku has made nine appearances this season, scored two goals, and recorded five assists.

Enrique explained, "I think the biggest issue for Liverpool will be Jeremy Doku up against Liverpool’s right-hand side. Liverpool just look so weak there and Pep Guardiola will know that better than anyone. He will know how to exploit that side and do it."

Ultimately, Enrique is backing his old side to get a point away at the reigning champions; "I want Liverpool to win, but I think this game is going to end in a 2-2 draw."
