Can Manchester United qualify for the Champions League?

Former Liverpool midfielder and Champions League winner Didi Hamann has had his say on Manchester United's top-four hopes.

United currently sit sixth in the Premier League table having defeated Luton Town last weekend and Erik Ten Hag's team will be desperate to qualify for the 2024/25 tournament despite their struggles in European competition this season.

Speaking to Boyle Sports, who offer the latest Premier League odds, Hamann said," Manchester United are having huge issues, and they'll probably miss out on the Champions League this season."

The former German international also lamented the current situation at the club. He said, "The club is in turmoil, and you hear reports that the ground is falling apart, and people are disillusioned with the owners. There are a lot of things going on, and the team is not very good."

However, Hamann said he would like to see United get back amongst the elite teams.

"I hope United come back, though, as a strong Man United is always good for the Premier League."
