Former Manchester City and Belgium striker Emile Mpenza believes Kevin De Bruyne is now in decline.
The playmaker has struggled with injury this season and has made it clear he would be willing to consider a move to the Saudi Pro League.
Despite the salaries on offer, most players still wait until they are past their best to make such a move, and with the City player increasingly hampered by fitness concerns, his compatriot Mpenza suggested that the time will soon come for him to move on.
He told OLBG : “I think when Pep Guardiola leaves Manchester City, that’s when Kevin De Bruyne will leave too.
“They have won everything together and I think that would be best for them.
“You have to say that it’s not the same Kevin De Bruyne as the one from two or three years ago."
