The United manager is enduring a bad run of form.

Tomasz Kuszczak has called on Manchester United to back Erik ten Hag and give the under pressure Dutchman another season in charge.

Ten Hag is facing the biggest crisis of his managerial career and his side have to overcome Arsenal and Manchester City in the coming weeks.

United were embarrassed at Selhurst Park on Monday night as they were beaten 4-0 by Crystal Palace and it was a performance that brought widespread criticism.

An FA Cup final victory over Manchester City at the end of the month could help Ten Hag, and the former United keeper has urged his ex-club to continue with their current manager.

“There is no doubt that Ten Hag is a fantastic manager but he’s struggling, especially when you look at managers like Pep Guardiola, Jurgen Klopp and Mikel Arteta,” said Kuszczak when speaking to OLBG

“But they all had the time to build and alter their tactics. Any change in manager is going to take years for players to get used to it. Under Sir Alex he never made many changes between seasons.

“That's why I would definitely give him a go or another chance. I would let him work another season and see what would happen.”
