Louis Saha believes Manchester United have a decent shot at landing Alphonso Davies despite interest in the Bayern Munich and Canada left-back from Real Madrid.
Davies' contract with Bayern ends next summer, but the 23-year-old could commit to a new club as early as January, causing the race for his signature to heat up as Man United and Real Madrid both hope to add the Champions League winner to their squads.
Also at play are Bayern themselves, who have publicly expressed interest in re-signing the impending free agent and keeping him in Germany. However, Davies is reportedly looking to leave the Munich giants, with Carlo Ancelotti's side seen as the frontrunners for his signature.

Despite this, Saha feels that his former club still hold enough cachet that they could sway players like Davies to move to Old Trafford, even with the turmoil that currently surrounds the Premier League outfit.
Competing against the likes of Real Madrid for players is something that United should be doing, Saha insists.
“It’s a difficult one," Saha told Betfred. "When you’re a player and you have a choice to make between Real Madrid, who seem to win the Champions League every year, and Manchester United, it’s a difficult one.
"Manchester United are still a very attractive prospect for any player and they need a player in Alphonso’s position if Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia don't come back soon. The club needs top players in every position to chase what they need to chase. They’re not chasing to be in the middle of the table, they need to be chasing the teams at the very, very top.
"Without those players with massive experience and top talent, it’s going to be very difficult to do so.”
