The Three Lions head to Germany for Euro 2024 next month.
Harry Redknapp believes Marcus Rashford should have been included as a part of England’s squad for Euro 2024.

The Manchester United forward was surprisingly omitted from Gareth Southgate’s pre-tournament squad, with the Three Lions boss stating that he feels other players in Rashford’s position have had better seasons.

Rashford has only scored eight goals for his club this season and drew criticism for some of his reported off-field behaviour during the campaign. However, speaking to BetVictor, Redknapp says he still would have taken him to Germany.

He said: “At the 2022 World Cup, he was our joint-leading scorer. When he's on his game, he can be a real player. I was a little bit surprised we didn't take him

“I would still have included him in the Euros squad. Even if he's not starting, he can come off the bench.

“He gives you that pace either wide or through the middle. On his day, with that pace, Rashford can be a real threat to the opposition. If I was playing against him, he'd scare me to death at times.”
