Jamie O'Hara believes Gareth Southgate has no choice but to consider an England recall for Jadon Sancho ahead of the Euros this summer.
The forward has been back to best since moving on-loan to Borussia Dortmund in January, after falling out with Man United coach Erik ten Hag.
Sancho could yet end the season with a Champions League winners medal, and speaking to Grosvenor Sport, O'Hara can't see how he can't be included in Southgate's plans.
“I don’t know how Gareth Southgate can’t look at Jadon Sancho," he said.
"He has been involved with England and I’ve always thought he was good when he played for the national team.
“He had a shocker at Manchester United, it was a disaster. He’s gone to Dortmund and he’s playing really good football and he’s playing in a Champions League final.
“You can’t tell me if he puts in a top performance in the final and they win, you can’t pick Jadon Sancho.
“This is what I don’t understand with Gareth Southgate. Once he’s got his mind made up that’s it. But he’ll pick Jordan Henderson. I guarantee you Jordan Henderson is on the plane. But he won’t take Jadon Sancho who’s about to play in a Champions League final.”
