Michael Owen knows a thing or two about scoring goals, and the former Premier League star has already predicted who he thinks will win next season's Golden Boot.
Owen twice won the award as a player and is confident that Erling Haaland will be the league's top scorer for the third season in a row in 2024-25.
The Manchester City man scored 27 times last season to bag the award ahead of Cole Palmer and Alexander Isak and Owen exclusively told DAZN, courtesy of AceOdds, that he doesn't think anyone can beat him.
He said: "No. I don't think so. I mean he was injured for quite a period of time this season and still won it. What did he win it by in the end? By about five or six? All things being equal, then no.
"If Harry Kane was in the league still then you'd say, Postecoglou plays an attacking brand of football, they score a lot of goals. You could maybe make a case for Kane, but I mean, Mo Salah as well, you could make a little case.
"But no, I mean, if he plays, if he's fit all season, he plays all the time, then no. He'll win the Golden Boot again."
