Alan Brazil feels that Arsenal still might not have enough firepower to go on and win the Premier League title.
The Gunners fired themselves straight back into title contention with a win over rivals Liverpool earlier this month, and last weekend showed their credentials with a 6-0 thrashing of West Ham.
Despite hitting the Hammers for six, Brazil remains unconvinced about their forward line and told talkSPORT Bet that he believes the club still need an out-and-out striker to compete for top-spot.
“My main problem with Arsenal is, who’s going to score the goals?” said Brazil.
“Yes they scored plenty against West Ham, but they still don’t have a proper centre-forward. Defensively and in midfield, they’re great with the likes of Martin Odegaard, who I think is a great player, but they can be a bit predictable.
“The two wingers also look to cut back inside rather than going down the line and you can counter that by bringing a midfielder player back and doubling up on them, then you can show them inside and they’ll have nowhere to go and they’ll have to go backwards.
“There are still a few issues for Mikel Arteta to sort but there’s no doubt in my mind that they’re in the title race. The wins over Liverpool and West Ham will have been a huge relief and they’ll be pleased to show those who had written them off that they’re not finished yet.”
