United visit Luton this weekend.

Harry Redknapp is backing Rasmus Hojlund now he has found goalscoring form for Manchester United.

The former Tottenham manager was speaking to BetVictor about United’s next game, an away trip to Luton Town this weekend.

Erik ten Hag’s men have put together a run of three consecutive Premier League victories, and that has lifted them into sixth spot, though they are a way off qualifying for the Champions League next season.

Redknapp thinks the game is potentially crucial for the home team, but predicted United would win 2-1.

He said: “I’m looking forward to this one. Talk about a body-blow for Luton last week, just as they were building some momentum they go on and lose to Sheffield United. This now becomes a massive game for them, Rob Edwards will want a response.

“As for Manchester United, they’ve definitely got some momentum. They’ve got a habit of winning games they probably shouldn’t, talk about a nice habit to have! All of a sudden, this United side aren’t that far away from the top four.

“I can see Luton causing problems and even getting a goal, but I think United will win this.”

He added: “Rasmus Hojlund has really found his shooting boots and is looking like a very, very good striker to me.”
