France head into the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup a year removed from their best-ever finish at a major tournament.
The French claimed third place at UEFA Women's Euro 2022, and although they are sure to be disappointed by the narrow defeat in the semi-finals that kept them from playing for a trophy, their progress at that tournament and their results in the months leading up to the 2023 WWC are all signs that the side is heading in the right direction.
Now they headline a Group F that also includes Brazil, Jamaica and Panama. The Brazilians, ranked eighth in the world to France's fifth, are the biggest threat to take first place in the group from the European side.
Will France be able to hold off Brazil and the two North American teams to claim top spot in the group?
Here are the fixtures that will define France's World Cup journey, along with kick-off times and how to watch.
