The month-long football spectacle which is the 2024 European Championships begins this evening, with hosts Germany opening up the competition against Scotland.
As well as being the hosts, Germany are one of the most tipped sides to have a strong showing in the tournament, as they look to win a first Euros since 1996.
Julian Nagelsmann's side are in Group A of the competition, alongside Friday opponents Scotland, Hungary and Switzerland.
Germany are heavily fancied to top Group A, but who would they face in the knockout stages if they progress as expected?
DAZN takes a look at Die Mannschaft's path to Euro 2024 glory.
Round of 16
If Germany finish top of Group A as anticipated, they will play in the first of eight Round of 16 matches in Dortmund on June 29.
Their opponents will be the runners up from Group C - which consists of England, Denmark, Serbia and Slovenia.
Going by world rankings, that would make Denmark the most likely opponents from Germany, but they are not guaranteed top spot in Group A.
If a shock was to happen and Germany finished second in the group stage, they would then face the runners up from the 'Group of Death', Group B.
There, Die Mannschaft would face one of Spain, Italy or Croatia, providing that Albania do not cause a huge upset in the group.
Quarter-Finals
If Germany's quest to lift the European Championship trophy gets off to the perfect start, they will have a tough task ahead in the quarter-finals.
Providing Germany top Group A and win their Round of 16 match, they will face the winners from Group B in the last eight.
That means the hosts will have to beat one of Italy, Spain or Croatia if they are to reach the semi-finals.
If Germany come second in Group A, their most likely opponent in the quarter-finals would be tournament favourites England.
