England don't know how to break teams down, according to Glen Johnson.
The former Three Lions defender is one of many who have taken to criticising the performance of the team at Euro 2024 so far. While England sit atop their group with a win and draw after two games, their performances have left a lot to be desired.
Johnson believes it's a coaching problem.
“I’m not sure if Gareth Southgate has the tactical know-how to break teams down properly," Johnson told Paddy Power.
"There does seem to be periods where the players are allowed to get on with it and do what they want because he puts so much trust and belief into them and nine times out of 10, they are good enough to win.
“Most teams that play England are going to know they’re second favourites and are going to park the bus and make it hard for England.
"It’s important to have a plan B but the way our team is and the players we have, I don’t know what that is.”
