Graeme Souness has explained his issues with Paul Pogba and detailed why he's been so critical of the former Manchester United midfielder.
The Scottish football legend has made his feelings clear on Pogba previously, accusing the Frenchman of being 'lazy' and lambasting his performances while at Old Trafford.
Talking on talkSPORT's Simon & Souness show, Souness explained why he has been so harsh on Pogba, who's currently back in Italy with Juventus.
"He had the equipment to be the best midfielder in the world," he said.
"I saw a young man that was going through the motions a lot of the time, and that frustrated me."
Souness went on to pinpoint why he thought Pogba never fulfilled his potential, citing his triumph with his national team as the moment his career went downhill.
Adding: "With that physique and that technical ability, he just did not have the right attitude to make him a superstar.
"The worst thing that happened to him was winning a World Cup, because he could turn and say, 'I am a World Cup winner'.
"I think at that point, it was him going backwards."
