Harry Redknapp has hailed the performances of two of Liverpool's heroes after their Carabao Cup win over Chelsea at Wembley.
The Reds won the game with an extra-time goal from Virgil van Dijk, with a team featuring a number of Liverpool's academy players, but Redknapp reserved special praise for goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher.
The Irishman kept a clean sheet for the second time in a Carabao Cup Final and was singled out by the former Premier League manager.
"What a win that was for Liverpool over Chelsea in the Carabao Cup final!" Redknapp told BetVictor.
"I thought Caoimhin Kelleher was superb in goal for them. I’ve always liked this lad but unfortunately for him, he’s obviously got such a top keeper in front of him.
"This isn’t the first time that Jurgen Klopp has trusted him in these big finals though. He made a few brilliant 1v1 saves in the game, the one from Cole Palmer’s shot was unbelievable. He’s too good to be a number two."
Another player who caught Redknapp's eye was Conor Bradley, who continued his excellent run of form since breaking into the side with another impressive display on such a big occasion.
Adding; "Another Liverpool lad in the side, Conor Bradley. This boy has been superb since he first came into the side and looks at home in the first team. He started at his usual right-back position and ended up playing further forward after Joe Gomez came on. It doesn’t matter where the lad plays though, you’re getting energy, drive and some quality on the ball from him."
