Could there be some late action?

Harry Redknapp believes that Liverpool are unlikely to move in the transfer window following Jurgen Klopp’s impending exit.

The German announced that he would be leaving the club at the end of the season, with Liverpool top of the Premier League and credible challengers for the title this year.

Crucial to Liverpool’s improvement this season has been their transfer outlay in the summer which saw Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai, Wataru Endo and Ryan Gravenberch arrive as new options for midfield.

However, like many clubs this January, there has been little suggestion that Liverpool will make any major moves in the transfer window, and with Mo Salah soon back from the Africa Cup of Nations, Redknapp told sports betting site BetVictor that he sees no urgent need for additions at Anfield.

“I don’t think Liverpool will be looking to do any business in this window,” he said.

“Their squad is well-built and there are no positions where they look desperate for players.

“Conor Bradley has come in and played well covering for Trent Alexander-Arnold whilst he was injured, and Andy Robertson is back now, so they’re well-covered in all positions.”
