Inter Milan are in need of a victory.
A poor run of domestic results has dropped the Nerazzurri into ninth place in Serie A, and they now head into European play looking to reverse their fortunes against a Barcelona side that have turned things around on their own end.
Inter have dropped two straight matches ahead of Tuesday's clash with Barca, and with Group C arguably the toughest in this year's Champions League they'll need to go against trend and maximize their opportunity against the current La Liga leaders.
"It's a difficult moment for us, but as players we must take the responsibility and be ready to give more," Inter's Matteo Darmian said.
"I think from our side, we're not presuming anything. I know all my teammates well. Despite the difficult period we're experiencing, we all want to turn the situation around because we're a tight-knit group. From our side, we want to put things right. We need to stay calm and be switched on for the full 90 minutes."
