Three Lions underperformed in their draw with Denmark.

England's draw with Denmark has come under criticism following another dismal performance at Euro 2024.

Harry Kane gave the Three Lions the lead in Frankfurt before Gareth Southgate's team were pegged back in the first half and failed to impose themselves for the rest of the game.

The midfield has been pinpointed as England's biggest issue, and talking to Grosvesnor Sport, Jamie O'Hara has urged Southgate to change the system and personnel to get England going again.

He said: “Declan Rice has been sensational this season – he barely had a bad game for Arsenal – but Gareth Southgate gets his hands on him and he puts in an awful performance.

“That’s the worst I’ve seen him play for England, he was giving the ball away for fun and nearly cost us two goals. He got away with a few and was just terrible throughout.

“We need to change the formation to sort out the midfield – there’s just no balance at all there at the moment. I would drop [Jude] Bellingham into a deeper role and get rid of Trent [Alexande-Arnold] – that experiment hasn’t worked and needs to stop.

"I said from the outset he wasn’t a midfielder and I’ve been proved right. It’s been shocking to watch from an England perspective so far.”
