The Premier League has seen some top performances so far this season, but as we had into the winter schedule, there are several names that stand out from the rest - according to former winger Jermaine Pennant.
The ex-Liverpool and Arsenal man spoke exclusively to DAZN News, thanks to Mega Dice, and put forward three players who have impressed him the most.
Pennant mentioned the form of Bukayo Saka and Mohamed Salah but reserved special praise for another Liverpool player as the league's standout performer.
"I would say this is not me being biased, but Ryan Gravenberch," Pennant said.
"He's one of the standout players for me. He's been given this position by Arne Slot, and he looks like a different signing.
"He looks like he's signed a new player. I'm surprised that Jurgen Klopp didn't see this in Gravenberch to play there, to play in that number six role, rather than Endo.
"Bukayo Saka has been a standout for Arsenal as well. He's really taken his game to another level. And Mo Salah is just Mo. I think this is probably one of Mo's best seasons. But it's remarkable how he's still managing, as he gets older, to get even better.
"So I think they're the three players that really have been a standout this season. You can look at Cole Palmer as well.
"I think it's the usual suspects, really, who would really say, right, I'm going to take this league by storm this year."
