Nicolas Jackson can become a "£150 million player" with the potential to rival Erling Haaland if he fulfils his promise at Chelsea, says Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.
The Senegal international made a quiet start to life at Stamford Bridge last season, underwhelming despite netting 14 goals in 35 Premier League games.
But a terrific start to life under Enzo Maresca has Jackson in top gear this term, netting four goals including a brace against West Ham last weekend.
Now Hasselbaink, who twice claimed the Golden Boot during his Premier League days, believes the attacker can rival Manchester City star Haaland with the right growth.
"The major difference is Haaland has a lot more top-level experience in terms of Champions League football," Hasselbaink told Genting Casino.
"Jackson hasn’t done that. That is what Jackson needs to do to be considered one of the best strikers in the world.
"He needs to be decisive on the pitch and he needs to score goals regularly at the highest level in the game. It’s a big challenge for him, but he has the potential to get there.
"If Jackson fulfils his potential, he will be a £150 million player. I’m convinced of that. He’s a player that has the potential to be able to do everything. He can play outside the box.
"He can play with the ball at his feet, those are things that Erling Haaland can’t really do. Jackson has the potential to become one of the best strikers in the world."
