Lazio cruised to a 3-0 victory in one of the most one-sided Rome derbies in years as a defensive horror show from AS Roma denied them the chance to go second in Serie A.
The first-ever Derby della Capitale to be played on a Friday, set behind closed doors due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, went the way of the home side very early on when Manuel Lazzari caught Roger Ibanez napping on the edge of his own area, allowing him to tee up Ciro Immobile for the opener after 14 minutes.
Lazzari then punished Ibanez once again minutes later before putting the second goal on a plate for Luis Alberto, who would grab his second of the game at the 67-minute mark.
