Chelsea head to Lille for the second leg of their Champions League last-16 tie with a two-goal advantage after easing to a 2-0 win at Stamford Bridge last month.
The Blues now look to complete the job against the French champions, who have scored multiple goals just twice over their last nine matches in all competitions.
While not the most daunting task on paper, Chelsea will still look to field their strongest side to ensure qualification for the quarterfinals. As such, Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel said Marcos Alonso and Cesar Azpilicueta should both be in the starting XI on Wednesday after missing the weekend's Premier League action, while decisions on Reece James and Callum Hudson-Odoi will be made closer to kickoff.
"Marcos is ready to start and Azpi is also ready to start," Tuchel told reporters on Tuesday.
"With Reece James and Callum Hudson-Odoi, we will try to have them join in training later but this will be a very tight race.
"As you know they were not involved [on Sunday] and we will take the decision on those two after training, it will be a very late call. First we need to weigh up the risk.
"Let’s see after training if it is worth the risk or whether it is even possible first, as it will be a very, very tight race for them."
