Arne Slot has made an impressive start to life as Liverpool manager, with the new Anfield boss only losing one game in all competitions so far this season.
The Reds currently sit top of the Premier League table, a point ahead of Manchester City and have maximum points in their Champions League campaign.
The Dutchman's start hasn't surprised former Liverpool defender Mark Lawrenson, who says the structure at the club has worked in Slot's favour.
Speaking exclusively to DAZN, thanks to FreeBets, Lawrenson was asked how surprised he'd been by Liverpool's performances, and he believes the best thing Slot has done is change very little at Anfield.
"We know that it was outstanding. And he probably only left because he was completely worn out. I think the very best thing that Arne Slot has done is changed as little as possible. It ain't broke. So, you don't need to change it.
"And he must go into his office every day and think, oh my God, what a good time to be Liverpool manager.
"It's all organized, it's all arranged. Yes, you might want another couple of players, so you might have to wait until January. But it's there for him and all he really needs to do is subtle little changes and that's. That's basically what he's done.
"He may play a little bit more football than Klopp did but it's the same results. And the reason it's the same results is because they've got unbelievably talented players and lots of them. So, you know, well done Arnie Slot. Long may keep it going."
